Quiet place. Cold pool and very little service. With that annually it isn't too expensive.

Great, little campground nestled in the rural Adirondacks. About an hour drive from Lake Placid.
The facilities are a bit old and most of the campers are RVs or trailers but the tent site is well isolated from the RV area, close to the pool and almost empty on a heavy weekend! Mobile reception and data (T-Mobile) is stellar as a perk.
